Description

No. 2 Soar Road is a cottage, likely dating from the 17th century, though it has been significantly restored and altered. The exterior features whitewashed rendered rubblestone and a Welsh slate roof, which has a rendered ridge and stacks at the rear and right end. The building has two storeys with three 20th-century two-light leaded casements above a central glazed door, which is flanked by a similar three-light window on either side. There is a lean-to structure on the left end. Inside, the cottage has chamfered beams.
