Description

No 46 and No 48 on Narrow Lane is a house dated "AC 1666" on the window frame. It features a stone plinth, red brick construction, and plain tile roofs. The building has a T-plan layout, with the vertical section oriented parallel to the street. It is two-storeys tall and has two windows in a range that runs parallel to the street. The fenestration is regularly spaced but varies in style. The gable end facing the street includes a 2-light leaded window on the ground floor, with the date carved above it, and a 3-light unglazed moulded timber opening set into the plinth. The rear of the building has been rebuilt.
