Description

This is a house located at 23 Dovecote Street in Hathern, dating from the 17th century and later. It features a stone plinth and a timber-framed structure, with the west front covered in roughcast and the south gable end partially rebuilt in brick. The roof is made of Swithland slate and has three ridge stacks. The building is two stories high with a box frame and a three-window range. There is a 20th-century door and three-light horizontally sliding sash windows on the first floor. A canted addition is present on the north side. The east front includes a timber-framed gabled dormer and an outshut.
