Description

This is a house, dating from the 17th century, located on the west side of Main Street in Cossington. The house is rendered in whitewash, with a visible plinth and decorative band. It has a roof of Welsh and Swithland slate, with a brick central ridge and rear stacks. A slightly lower gable is present to the right. The windows are leaded casements, arranged as a 3-light, a 1-light, a 3-light, a 2-light over two 3-lights, and a single 1-light on the first floor. The front features a 6-panelled oak door set within a slope-top wooden porch. To the left of the main facade is a single-storey extension, containing a door and a 2-light window.
