Description

68 Main Street is a house dating from the 18th century and early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a roof made of Welsh and Swithland slate, with a central ridge and end stacks made of brick. The early 19th-century section faces the street, while the 18th-century section projects to the rear on the right side. The building has two storeys and includes four 3-light centre-opening casements. There is a wooden doorcase located centre right, which has a bracketed flat canopy, a six-panelled door, and an overlight. At the rear, there is an outshut and the rear range features 2-light casements with toplights.
