Description
Nos. 133 and 137 on Main Street are a range of two cottages, originally three, built in the late 19th century. They are constructed from granite rubble stone with brick dressings, featuring brick dentilled eaves and a Swithland slate roof with brick ridge and end stacks. The cottages are two storeys high and have six 2-light leaded casement windows, with three shorter windows above the porches. On the ground floor, there are three 3-light leaded casements with cambered lintels. Each cottage has a gabled porch with a Swithland slate roof, a wood dentilled cornice, and an open work trefoil at the apex, with a plank door beneath each porch. The rear has a catslide roof. These cottages are included for their group value.
