Description
Meadow Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in 1799, as indicated by the inscription "1799 W & L Car" on the brick. The building features red brick construction with a slate roof and brick end stacks. It is two storeys tall with an attic and has a double fronted design, consisting of a three-window range, along with a two-storey single window wing on the right side. The entrance is marked by a 19th-century pedimented doorcase supported by brackets. The ground and first floors have rubbed brick window heads and 12-pane sash windows, although the central first-floor window has been replaced by a casement. The attic includes semi-circular windows, and there is a brick dentil cornice along the top.
