Description

This is a house dating from the 16th and 17th centuries, originally timber-framed and now with brick infill—though much of the brickwork is from the 20th century. The roof is slate, and there are brick stacks. The house is of a two-storey, box-frame construction, featuring angle struts. A gabled cross wing is on the left-hand side, and a lower, projecting wing sits to the left of this. A 20th-century porch has been added. The windows are mostly 20th century replacements. Inside, the exposed beams have reeded chamfers.
