Description

No. 2 Melton Road is a cottage dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of dressed stone, granite brick, and render, topped with a Swithland slate roof featuring two brick gable stacks. The building has a granite plinth, with unusual dressed stone above that is now mostly rendered. The central doorway is flanked by a single three-light sliding casement on either side, all set under segmental brick arches. Above, there are two plain three-light sliding casements.
