Description

No. 9 Seagrave Road is a cottage dating from the early 18th century, possibly with earlier origins. It is constructed of whitewashed brick and features a thatched roof with brick end stacks. The brick coped gables face the front, which is to the right. The building is 1½ storeys high and has two 20th-century bow windows along with two 2-light horizontal sliding sash dormers. On the left end, there is a glazed door and a single light window. At the rear, there is a single-storey wing with a pantile front and a Swithland slate roof, which also has an end stack. This wing includes three 2-light casement windows.
