Description

Little Thatch is a cottage dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of whitewashed brick and features a thatched roof that is hipped to the right, with a brick central ridge and stacks at the right end. The date of 1723 is visible in the brickwork between the ground and upper floors. The cottage has one and a half storeys and includes five windows: starting from the left, there is a 2-light casement, a 2-light horizontal sliding sash, a door, a wooden oriel window with three lights and sidelights, and two 1-light casements. Additionally, there are two 2-light eyebrow dormers with a timber eaves plate. The front wall is supported by three thin brick buttresses, and there is a baffle entrance.
