Description
No. 1 Melton Road is a late 18th-century cottage constructed with randomly bonded brickwork and topped with a slate roof. The building stands two storeys high and features a single unit plan with a gable end stack. It has three-light horizontal sliding sash windows and a single unit wing at the rear. This cottage forms a group with Nos. 7-9 South Street.
