Description

No. 264 on Forest Road is a cottage built around 1850. It features a slate rubble stone construction and a roof made of Swithland slate, with ornamental buff brick stacks in an Elizabethan style located at the right end and rear. The cottage is 1½ storeys high and has a gable facing the road. It includes leaded light casements with rubble stone cambered lintels. The entrance is on the right side, leading to a gabled porch that has two-light windows on either side, along with two 2-light dormers above. The left end facing the road has a 2-light window, a 3-light window, a 2-light dormer, and another 2-light window in the gable. There is a 20th-century single-storey extension on the right end.
