Description

No. 274 on Forest Road is a cottage built in 1910, with some parts possibly dating back earlier. The structure is made of slate and granite rubble stone, topped with a hipped thatched roof and a projecting stone stack on the right end. It has one and a half storeys featuring renewed casement windows: one window, three windows, a door, and a two-light window with two lunette dormers above. The left end of the cottage has two two-light windows set in a segmental recess, with pigeon holes above them. There is also a two-light window on the right end. At the rear, the cottage includes two doors, two casements, and a bay window. The attic is dated 1910.
