Description
No 77 on Forest Street is a mid-18th century house constructed of red brick, partly resting on a granite plinth, and topped with a slate roof. It features a brick end stack and a ridge stack located to the right of the center. The building is two stories high and has a three-window range. Above each storey, there is a three-course raised brick band, with the central course set diagonally. The entrance is situated between the left-hand and central bays, featuring a 20th-century door and porch. On the ground floor, there are two segmental-headed, three-light horizontally-sliding sash windows with small panes, although the right-hand window is from the 20th century. The first floor has three smaller flat-headed, three-light horizontally-sliding sash windows, also with small panes.
