Description

Lukers is a mid-18th century house located on the north side of High Street in Theale. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped old tile roof. The building has two storeys and includes a plinth, gauged heads, and a dentil brick eaves cornice. There are two ridge stacks positioned off-centre to the left and right, as well as a stack to the left at the rear. The façade consists of seven bays with sash windows that have exposed wooden boxes; the first-floor windows are fitted with glazing bars. In the first two bays from the right, there is a depressed archway with two boarded doors. A six-panelled door, located in the third bay from the left, is accessed by three steps and is framed by a moulded architrave and a flat hood.
