Description

Nos. 58, 58A, and 58B on High Street is a house that has been converted into flats, dating from the early 18th century. The building is constructed of grey brick with tuck pointing and features red brick dressings. It has a hipped slate roof and stands two storeys tall. The design includes rusticated brick quoins, chaînage, and gauged heads. There is an end stack to the right side of the building. The facade consists of five bays with glazing bar sash windows that have exposed wooden boxes, along with a central blank window on the first floor. The entrance features a central six-panelled door topped by a radial fanlight, framed by a moulded architrave and panelled pilasters that support a bracketed open triangular pediment.
