Description
This is a mid-18th century farmhouse with minor 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of red brick with gauged brick dressings and has a plain tile roof with brick coped gables, a brick ridge stack, and a dentilled eaves band. The building is L-shaped and has two storeys plus garrets, with a three-bay front. The central doorcase features a 20th-century pedimented and pilastered surround, an original panelled door, and a margin light overlight. To either side of the door are small-paned timber cross windows, and above them are three similar windows, all set beneath flat arches. The west gable wall and a rear range incorporate segment-headed casement windows with small panes. Inside, a ground floor room to the west features an Adam style fireplace.
