Description

SK 23 NW PARISH OF BARTON BLOUNT MAMMERTON LANE 1/7 (East Side) Bartonfields (North) and attached outbuilding. II

Farmhouse and outbuilding. Late C18. Red brick with plain tile hipped roof. Two brick ridge stacks and one side wall stack. Three storeys. South elevation of three plus three bays. Left hand part three storeyed and symmetrical. Central doorway with panelled door and overlight, flanked on each side by C19 canted bay windows with parapets. Three glazing bar sashes above under flat brick arches with keystones. Three similar, but smaller windows above. Lower three bays to right with two glazing bar sashes under flat brick arches and a mid C19 tripartite plain sash under segment head to ground floor. Three glazing bar sashes above. West elevation has glazing bar sashes to right and tripartite casements under segment heads to left. Lower range to north with segment headed windows and attached outbuilding with segment headed carriage arch surmounted by a low tower with pyramid roof.
