Description
The outbuilding to the east of Spann Carr Windmill Tower is a structure dating from around 1807. It is built from coursed gritstone rubble, with stone dressings around the openings, and features a stone slate roof. The building is single storey with an overloft and consists of five bays. On the west side wall, there are a pair of stone doorways, along with a first-floor doorway that has plain diagonally tooled jambs and a lintel, which is accessed by a flight of stone steps. There is also a blocked window opening on the ground floor. This outbuilding is listed for its group value with the adjacent windmill.
