Description

This outbuilding, located to the south of the Old Mill, dates from the early 19th century and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. It is constructed from rendered rubble stone and features a plain tile roof with moulded stone copings at the gables. The building consists of a single bay and is a single storey with attics, although only the attics are visible from the western street elevation due to a significant drop in the land level. The west elevation includes a central doorcase with a segmental arch and a plank door. On the east elevation, there are two segmental-headed doors with a 3-light window from the 20th century positioned above. This outbuilding is one of a pair that flanks the Old Mill and is included in the listing for its group value.
