Description

Fernilee Methodist Chapel is a small Wesleyan chapel built in 1871, constructed from polychrome brick. It features blue brick with white brick quoins and dressings, along with red brick dressings. The eaves cornice adds to its architectural detail. The front elevation is gabled and includes a gabled porch supported by stone pilasters, leading to an arched entry with double doors. The porch is flanked by two windows, and there is a date stone positioned above the door. In front of the chapel, there are railings and a lamp holder. The side elevation contains two round-headed windows adorned with white and red brick dressings, as well as bands at the impost height and at the cills, along with one window at a lower level. The glazing consists of two lancet lights.
