Description
Taxal Rectory is a building with early 19th century features, possibly with earlier origins. It is two storeys high and constructed from painted small coursed stone, featuring three gables. Two of the gables each have one hung sash window with glazing bars, while the projecting left-hand gable has a three-light window with a modern lintel on both floors. The ground floor includes a three-light window, where the outer lights are narrower, featuring hung sashes with glazing bars and wood mullions. The doorway is adorned with pilasters and a narrow entablature, with flanking lights on either side of the door.
