Description

Carr Lodge is a building dated 1808, though it may have origins slightly earlier. It is constructed of coursed stone and stands two storeys high. The front features three windows with stone lintels, one of which has a keystone, and the two ground floor windows also have stone lintels with keystones. The glazing is modern. The date is displayed on a wooden surround to the door, which is located beneath a stone lintel with a keystone. There is a canted corner to the left of the building. The rear elevation includes three windows above and two doors below, all with modern glazing. The building is included for its group value.
