Description
31 Parsonage Road is a building that appears to date from the early 19th century, although it is said to have an earlier origin. It is two storeys tall and constructed of white painted brick with a slate roof. The front elevation features four windows, one of which is blocked, and includes keystones. The modern windows have glazing bars, and one window on the ground floor has been altered. There is a brick and slated open gabled porch at the front, and a similar but closed porch at the rear. Both floors of the rear elevation have three windows. Additionally, there is an adjoining brick and slated link above a flat-headed carriage entry to former outbuildings, which shows remains of exposed half-timbering that may date back to the 17th century.
