Description
Barton Lodge is a building dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is two storeys high and constructed of whitewashed brick, topped with a hipped pantiled roof. The east front features three sliding sash windows with rusticated stucco lintels that have keystones, and two hung sash windows with glazing bars on the ground floor, which are adorned with stucco flat arches. There is a modern porch with a door consisting of three fielded panels, side lights, and a rectangular fanlight. The south front has five flush sash windows. Barton Lodge, along with the farm buildings to the north, which are of local interest, form a cohesive group.
