Description

No. 42 Old Road is a former farmhouse dated 1746, as indicated by the inscription on the door lintel. The building is two storeys high and constructed of coursed stone, topped with a stone slate roof and featuring end stacks. On the first floor, there are two windows that now have modern glazing, while one window on the ground floor retains its original hung sashes with glazing bars. Additionally, there is a modern gabled porch at the front of the house.
