Description

No. 1 Butts is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century, constructed from hammer-dressed stone with quoins. It features a stone slate roof, which has gable copings and moulded stone brackets supporting the gutter. The building stands two storeys high and includes a first-floor sill band. The central doorway is topped with a small single light window. To the right of the doorway, there is a three-light window on both floors. On the left side, there is a two-light window on the ground floor and a three-light window on the first floor.
