Description

Ash Cottage is a house from the late 18th century, constructed of hammer-dressed stone with quoins. It features a stone slate roof that is turned, along with two ashlar gable stacks and moulded stone brackets supporting the gutter. The building is two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-bay facade. The central doorway, which is now glazed, has a deep lintel above it. On both the left and right sides of the facade, there is one three-light stone mullioned window on each floor. To the left, there is an altered barn that is not included in this listing.
