Description

No 1 Pall Mall is a cottage built in 1711, with extensions to the west in 1735 and again in the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile roof with brick ridge and gable stacks. The building has two storeys and a south elevation with three bays. The right-hand bay is lower and has a brick that is dated 1711. There is one 20th-century casement window on each floor. To the left, there is a doorway with a keyed segment head and a 19th-century panelled door, with a datestone above inscribed with the year 1735. Further to the left is a three-light casement window with a keyed segment head, followed by a two-light segment-headed window. Above, there are two three-light casements with segment heads. The interior features exposed beams.
