Description

The sundial and railings located to the south of the Moravian Church in Ockbrook date from the late 18th century. The sundial is made of stone and features a square plinth with an octagonal moulded base, a stem, and a cornice, topped with a square copper dial. Surrounding the sundial is a set of railings mounted on an octagonal stone plinth. These railings are adorned with twisted, arrowhead finials on the rails and urn finials on the posts. Additionally, there is a small gate on the south side of the railings.
