Description

26 The Settlement is a house built in the early 19th century, with minor alterations from the 20th century. It was constructed as part of the Moravian Settlement. The building is made of red brick with painted stone dressings and features a slate roof with wide eaves and brick gable stacks, along with a plain eaves band. The house has two storeys and two bays. The central doorcase includes a panelled door and a plain overlight, which is covered by a plain stone porch that has a 20th-century glazed porch added to it. On either side of the door, there are glazing bar sash windows beneath wedge lintels, and above, there are two similar windows. This listing is included for its group value only.
