Description

The railings to the south of the Moravian Church date from the late 18th century and are made of cast iron and red brick with stone dressings. They feature a low brick plinth with painted, chamfered stone copings and square brick piers at either end, which are topped by pyramidal stone copings. The railings consist of plain square section rails with pointed tops, and some have urn finials. Each of the two gates is constructed with similar rails and includes a band of circles near the base. The four gate posts are adorned with large acorn finials.
