Description

Dale Cottage, located at 138 Dale Road in Matlock Bath, is a Regency villa dated 1820. The building is constructed of stucco and features two storeys with four sash windows that have shutters. The doorway has a later plain gabled surround and was originally adorned with an iron trellis-work porch. Above the entrance, there is a central moulded panel engraved with the date 1820. The cottage has bold lined eaves and a low-pitched slate roof, contributing to its overall charm.
