Description

The Rectory is a late 18th century building located on Church Street in Matlock. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features three storeys. The façade includes two sash windows set within plain architraves. The entrance door is framed by a plain wooden architrave and has a hood supported by consoles above it. The roof is hipped and covered with tiles. To the right side of the main building, there is a two-storey wing that has one sash window, a Venetian window below it, and a stone-coped gable end with kneelers.
