Description

This is a table tomb located 9 yards south-east of the porch of St Giles Church, dating from the early 18th century. It is made of stone and features a plain stone base with inscriptions on the north and south sides, although the inscription on the south side is very worn. The north side reads, "Here lyeth the body of John Wolfer whose age was 75. Buried October ? 1707 .....", while the south side begins with "Richard Wolfer ....". The tomb is topped with a stone slab that has moulded edges. It is included in the listing for its group value.
