Description
This is a table tomb located approximately one metre south of the Church of All Saints, dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is made of gritstone and features a large slab that is about 10 centimetres deep, supported by four cubiform blocks with fielded outer panels. The tomb has a long inscription that is deeply cut but has weathered over time, reading: "Here lyes the Body of / ? Mary Who Died / the ? 9 of April 17?4 / Aged 7 Years ...". Unfortunately, the tribute and further names are not legible at the time of resurvey.
