Description
This is a barn located to the west of Healaugh Manor, dating from the 19th century, which incorporates earlier materials. The structure features a range from the 20th century at the front that is of no special interest. It is built from magnesian limestone, ashlar, and brick, topped with a pantile roof. The barn has a panelled door set beneath a four-centred arch within a chamfered surround. Above this door, there are three openings in double chamfered surrounds, all under hood-moulds; the leftmost opening is blocked, while the others contain 20th-century casements. Inside, the barn boasts king-post trusses with moulded tie beams, and on the east side, there is a wall plate with posts that have arch braces on either side of the entrance. The barn is included in the listing partly for its group value with the manor.
