Description
The building is a pigeon cote located at Healaugh, dating from the late 18th century but likely has earlier origins. It features a ground floor made of magnesian limestone, while the first floor is constructed with hand-made, narrow orange brick and pinkish-brown brick, topped with a pantile roof. The ground floor has small wooden doors at each end, with round-arched openings in between. Inside, there are brick nesting boxes for the pigeons.
