Description

The barn at Manor House is a 17th-century structure that has undergone 19th-century alterations and 20th-century additions. It is built from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and features a pantile roof with stone coped gables. The north side has a central entrance bay in its original position, flanked to the right by two smaller 19th-century doors and two 19th-century shuttered openings, while to the left is a lean-to extension from the 19th century. The entrance bay on the south side is blocked and obscured by later additions. Inside, there are some 17th-century tie beams and rafters, although the rest have been replaced in the 20th century. The barn is included in the listing for its group value.
