Description
This barn, located approximately 30 meters northwest of the Manor House, dates from the 17th century and was altered in the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed squared ironstone and coursed rubble, topped with a thatch roof. The barn features five bays, which are divided by ashlar pilasters. There is a cart entrance with a wooden lintel in the right bay, and slit windows in each bay to the left. The right side of the barn has been partly rebuilt in brick. Inside, there is a ceiling from the 20th century. It was likely originally an open-fronted shelter with the roof supported on stone pilasters. The barn is included for its group value with the Manor House.
