2, Main Street

No. 2 Main Street is a cottage dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed ironstone and limestone rubble, with some cob construction, and partly covered by pebbledash. The left side has been rebuilt in brick, and it features a thatched roof with brick stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays.

A gabled porch made of pebbledash, added in the 20th century, is located in the second bay from the left and includes a 20th-century glazed door with a pebbledash surround. To the left, there are two-light casement windows with wooden lintels, and two similar windows are found to the right. A 20th-century six-pane window is situated in the right bay on the first floor, while the other first-floor windows are two-light casements, also with wooden lintels. The interior has not been inspected.
