Description

This small barn, located approximately 15 meters south of the Manor House, dates from the 17th century. It is built from squared coursed ironstone rubble and features a steeply pitched corrugated-iron roof with stone-coped gables. The entrance consists of a plank door with a wooden lintel, and there is a casement window also with a wooden lintel. Inside, the barn has a two-bay roof supported by principal and common rafters, side purlins, tie and collar beams, and a ridge purlin. The barn is included in the listing for its group value with the Manor House.
