Description
Mapperley Park Farmhouse and Cottage is a late 18th-century building with minor later alterations. It features roughcast brick construction, slate roofs, and brick coped gables, along with brick ridge and gable stacks. The farmhouse consists of three bays, while the cottage is a single bay that now incorporates the eastern bay of the farmhouse; both structures are two storeys high. The farmhouse has a central gabled porch with a glazed panelled door, flanked by shallow 3-light glazing bar casements, with the eastern window being wider than the western one. Above, there are three similar 3-light windows, again with the eastern one wider. The cottage to the east has a plank door beneath a flat lintel on the west side and a 20th-century casement window on the east side. Above, there is a 2-light glazing bar casement window, with the western light blocked.
