Description

This is an early 19th-century farmhouse and cottage, built under a continuous roof. The building is constructed of brick, which has been rendered, with a pantiled roof, dentillated eaves, and tumbled coped gables. A ridge stack and a gable stack are present. The farmhouse section has two storeys and four bays. The central bay of the farmhouse contains a 20th-century half-glazed door, flanked by single 19th-century plain sash windows with segmental heads. Above, there are three plain sash windows. The cottage section to the right has a 19th-century door and a single Yorkshire sash window to its right. Above, there is a single plain sash window. To the right of the cottage is a later 19th-century addition, constructed of brick with a pantiled roof; it has one bay. This addition features a close-boarded door with a segmental head and a single fixed light above.
