Description

Wharf Bridge is a canal bridge built in 1830. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and features a single stilted segmental arch. The arch has a chamfered ashlar soffit, keystone, and imposts, with the central keystone inscribed '1830'. To the west, there are two 20th-century brick piers that support a pipe. The bridge is complemented by a curved brick parapet wall that has square brick piers and stone copings.
