Description
Church Farm House is a farmhouse dating from the early 18th century, with extensions and alterations from the 18th and 19th centuries. The building is constructed of brick and features a pantile roof, dentillated eaves, and brick coped tumbled gables, with a single gable and a single ridge stack. It has two storeys and four bays.
The main south front has an off-centre half-glazed door with a segmental head, flanked on the left by two three-light Yorkshire sash windows with modified segmental heads, and on the right by a single 20th-century casement window. To the right of the door, there is a close boarded hatch. Above, there are four Yorkshire sash windows with stone sills.
To the right, there is an 18th-century extension that is two storeys high and one bay wide, under a continuous roof. Beyond that is a 1.5-storey 19th-century extension, also of brick with a pantile roof and one gable stack. The rear north elevation features an off-centre panelled door, flanked on the left by a two-light casement and on the right by two Yorkshire sashes, with three Yorkshire sashes above.
