Description
The Cedars is an early 19th-century house constructed of brick, which has been rendered, with a 20th-century pantiled roof. It has stone sills, plain and dentillated eaves, stone-coped gables with kneelers, and two gable stacks. The original layout was of two storeys and three bays, forming an L-shaped plan. The central doorway is accentuated by a reeded doorcase with paterae and a dentillated cornice to the hood, flanked by single sash windows with glazing bars. Above, there are three similar sash windows, all with segmental heads. The left side and the rear wing include a centrally positioned 20th-century glazed door and four 20th-century casement windows with glazing bars.
