Description
This is a small house located on Main Street in Lyddington, dating from the mid-18th century and altered since. The exterior is constructed of rubble ironstone with quoins of Uppingham stone. The roof is covered with concrete tiles, featuring stone coping to the gables and moulded kneelers. There are red brick chimneys to the left and centre of the building.
The house is one storey and attic, with two bays. The ground floor has three two-light wooden casement windows installed in the 20th century. The window on the right is set within a blocked doorway with a stone lintel. A flush-panelled door is situated within a 20th-century wooden lean-to porch located between the left windows. Attic windows are present in the gable ends. A small, single-storey extension set back to the left has a slate roof and two windows. The building is included on the listing for its group value.
