Description
Slievenanee is a house dated 1763, as indicated by a tablet above the door, which has been raised in the 20th century. It is constructed of ironstone ashlar with Uppingham stone quoins and a flush band course at the first floor. The building has been raised with Hornton stone and features a 20th-century concrete tile roof, which was thatched before the raising, and has a coped gable on the left side. There are brick chimneys located on the right and in the center of the house.
The house is two storeys high with two bays. The wooden windows, which have thick glazing bars, were renewed in the 20th century. The lower left window has eight panes by four panes, while the lower right has six panes by three panes. The upper left window consists of three lights, and the upper right has two lights, with each window featuring one opening light. The central door, also from the 20th century, is set within an Uppingham stone surround that has narrow edge moulding and a moulded keyblock.
